Oh yeah. Now you're talking. Nature's sweetener. Isn't our God amazing? I love everything about the whole honey-making process. Especially the dancing of the bees to tell the others where to go for nectar.... Sweet. Thanks for a Great Post. Enjoyed all of it.

The maple leaves a delicious sap that when cooked down makes for a tasty syrup. We once went to our local nature center for a tour of and the making of syrup. And at the end of the tour, warm maple syrup on vanilla ice cream. Such a treat! To bad it is so expensive, because pure maple makes a stack of pancakes so much better than the other kind...
