Thank The Confederacy For Memorial Day

“Oddly enough, today's holiday springs from a celebration that the Confederacy began to honor those who fought the United States.”

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived." — General George S. Patton

"The cost of freedom is always high, but Americans have always paid it. And one path we shall never choose, and that is the path of surrender, or submission." -John F. Kennedy

R.I.P. B.B. King

MQTlogoa Some real Quality Time music…..

BB King has died. The legendary blues guitarist passed away Thursday in Las Vegas, his attorney confirmed. He was 89 years old.

“The Stairs” in the Hocking Hills of Ohio

MQTlogoa For a Spiritual start to the day “The Stairs” by T.D. Garrison and a couple photos of mine taken in the Hocking Hills of Ohio.

Oh long and dark the stairs I trod,
with stumbling feet to find my God,
Gaining a foothold bit by bit
Then slipping back and losing it.

There came a certain time when I
Loosened my hold and fell thereby,
Down to the lowest step my fall
As if I had not climbed at all.

And as I lay despairing there,
there came a footfall on the stairs
And 'lo' when hope had ceased to be
My God came down the stairs to me.

jtf1 Hope everyone has a great day. Linda and I certainly enjoyed hiking in The Hocking Hills of Ohio.
