PHOTO TAKEN AT SSPOTTED HORSE RANCH IN THE HOCKING HILLS
A couple days ago I posted a STORY about a young boy, his hammer, nails, and a fence. Well just up the road there is a field with a couple horses in it.
This story showed up in another email I received and I enjoyed it as much as the story about "NAILS IN A FENCE" so I thought I would share. Will end the post with a few photos from the Hocking Hills Hike. Just for SCENIC SUNDAY
This year the six mile hike seemed to me to be a little more strenuous than usual (I did finish). I guess I’m getting a little older and I know for sure I need to exercise more and loose some weight. Does that sound like a resolution? Will give periodic updates on how the “resolution” is coming… LOL

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.
I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.
I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.
I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear
I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.
I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.
I wish you enough "Hello's" to get you through the final "Goodbye."

A SKYWATCH POST
He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Life is like this: sometimes sun, sometimes rain
“THE SKY IS LOW,THE CLOUDS ARE MEAN” EMILY DICKINSON
“The sky is low, the clouds are mean,
A travelling flake of snow
Across a barn or through a rut
Debates if it will go.
A narrow wind complains all day
How some one treated him;
Nature, like us, is sometimes caught
Without her diadem.”

From the internet says “Author Unknown.” I received in an Email from J.R. (Thanks J.R.)
When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound will still be there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one. Please forgive
me if I have ever left a ' hole ' in your fence. Joe Todd
The photo of the Oak Tree was taken at Chestnut Ridge Metro Park. Then I used a free program “FotoSketcher” to get the effects in the second picture.

A SKY WATCH FRIDAY POST
Linda and I on our recent “road trip” visited her Mom and Brothers (Near Chicago) and this is what the skies looked like after dropping 12 inches of snow LOL. Then on to Toledo,Ohio where we visited my son Nathan his wife Cassie and the GRANDKIDS.
NOW “WHY NO SLEDDING”
1. Sledding might be healthy
2. Excess Fresh Air and Sunshine (POSSIBLE OVER PRODUCTION OF VITAMIN D)
3. Decrease in sales of video games etc. etc. Less texting minutes used, and the off chance children might talk to one another.
DANGER: The children in the above photos have taken a stand FOR SLEDDING. Please contact any and all politicians. Hearings must be held. Impose new taxes and fines on all sled makers and this trend can be stopped in it’s sled tracks.

The Ohio RV & BOAT SHOW is taking place in Columbus,Ohio at the Ohio Expo Center. January 9-17th, 2010
That’s Bob behind the counter taking a phone call from an out of state customer who is making a special trip to see Post's Travel Trailers. ( A few years back I had the opportunity to work at Post’s and I know first hand how much work goes into putting on one of these “shows” ) NEXT STOP
Kathy or is it Cathy?? is demonstrating how to “put up” the A-Liner Expedition.. She says it takes her about 28 seconds and having done it myself hundreds of times that is about right. Another unit they carry is the R-Pod which for a smaller unit is one of my favorites.
Well that’s about it for today I will leave you with a few random photos from the show and
