Louis Bromfield December 27, 1896 – March 18, 1956 was an American author and conservationist who gained international recognition winning the Pulitzer Prize and pioneering innovative scientific farming concepts. One of Mansfield, Ohio's most famous natives, his home was Malabar Farm near Lucas, Ohio, from 1939 until his death in 1956. Bromfield was also friends with some of the most celebrated personalities of his era, including famous architect F. F. Schnitzer, and provided the location for Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall's wedding.CLICK to read more from Wikipedia… Let’s take a look inside:

FRAMEDWEDDING  Next photo is of the Honeymoon suite. Notice the separate beds (style of the time) but at least the beds had rollers on them. LOL

I love house tours (it's the only time I get to see one these days ;>)!

That's a beautiful one -- and the single beds made me laugh. I remember old TV shows (I love lucy?) where they were always shown in single beds... Funny old times!
Whose picture was it? Looks like some old movie star but I couldn't quite put my finger on it ??
