BRANDYWINE RIVER MUSEUM OF ART… Hello Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania

happycampers1Joe Todd & Linda Say Welcome To MQTlogoa1500x500 We hope you enjoy your visit………………………………………………………….
Today we are going to visit::

When we first got to the museum I spotted my ex-girlfriend standing on the other side of the museum. I'm not going to go and say hi though. There's too much history between us. (just saying)
Q: Why don’t pirates shower before they walk the plank?
A: Because they’ll just wash up on shore later.
The Brandywine River Museum is a museum of regional and American art located on U.S. Route 1 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania on the banks of the Brandywine Creek.
While travelling across the prairie, why did all the covered wagons stop?  INJUN TROUBLE...DSC_0067
A Roman Catholic Priest, an Anglican priest and a Baptist preacher were standing near a river conversing when the subject of which church was nearest to the teaching of God arose. The Roman Catholic priest said that of course there was no argument that the Roman Catholic church was they were descended directly from the Apostles, in fact Peter was their first Pope. He said in fact so close are we that I can even walk on water like Jesus and he proceeded to walk on the water to the other side. The Anglican Priest said the Anglican church was very similar in origin to the Catholics and he too demonstrated his ability to walk on water like Jesus Christ. The Baptist preacher said that he could not care where their origins were, he studied the word and preached it purely, and without any embellishments. Since the could walk on water he should be even better at it. He took one step forward and sunk knee deep into the river. The Roman Catholic Priest whispered to the Anglican Priest, "Do you think we should tell him where the rocks are?"
I dream a lot. I do more painting when I'm not painting. It's in the subconscious. Andrew Wyeth

Absolute Honesty, Absolute Purity, Absolute Unselfishness, and Absolute Love ……….. F.Y.I.:: “Bill W. early criticized the Four Absolutes as being too tough for alcoholics to swallow, just as he later criticized several other Oxford Group principles and practices. By contrast, Dr. Bob S. consistently favored application of the Four Absolutes. So did his wife Anne, and the other leaders such as Henrietta S. and T. Henry. and Clarace W. READ MORE
The Twelve Steps are the “Backbone” of the program of Alcoholics Anonymous.

The “Big Book” of  Alcoholics Anonymous has stats most authors only dream of: more than 30 million copies sold. Translated into 67 languages. In 2012, the Library of Congress  ranked it No. 10 in its top 25 “Books that Shaped America.”

We will now close this meeting with the “Lord’s Prayer”:::
Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever
KEEPCOMINGBACDONE I’ve been waiting a long time to do this post. When the article.. Lost for decades, the Alcoholics Anonymous original manuscript will be auctioned for millions was published by The Washington Post I decided now was the time. ( As a side note: I probably did more research for this post than any other post I’ve done. I was able to go to some “Open AA meetings.” I really enjoyed myself and learned a lot…)  As Always “Have A Great Day”& KEEP COMING BACK
