Congratulations Jack Nicklaus

MQTlogoaOn a cold blustery March day I had the opportunity to spend a couple hours touring the Jack Nicklaus Museum located in the heart of The Ohio State University sports complex in Jack's hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

DSC_0099 Nicklaus was born in the Columbus, Ohio , the son of pharmacist Charlie Nicklaus (who ran several sites named Nicklaus Drug Store) and his wife Helen.. Jack Nicklaus is a “family man” whether as a son,husband,or father.

The PGA Championship (sometimes, especially outside of the United States referred to as the U.S. PGA Championship or U.S. PGA) is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers Association of America. It is one of the four major championships in professional golf.

Golf course design:: Nicklaus is in partnership with his four sons and his son-in-law through their company, Nicklaus Design. The company had 299 courses open for play at the end of 2005, which was nearly 1% of all the courses in the world .. WIKI

The tour of the museum ends with an 18 minute presentation in the theater (narrated by Sean Connery). I found the presentation enjoyable as I did the other presentations in the different rooms.

"The Golden Bear" Jack was raised in Upper Arlington, and attended Upper Arlington High School, whose nickname and mascot are called the Golden Bears.

Clingmans Dome (On a Clear Day) from My Quality Time

DSC_0043 Linda and I were at the summit of Clingmans Dome on Easter 2015. A group of Christian Chinese from Atlanta sang “Glory To God” in Chinese on this beautiful day. (so says the ranger))
