Today's Quotes::: “Music does bring people together. It allows us to experience the same emotions. People everywhere are the same in heart and spirit. No matter what language we speak, what color we are, the form of our politics or the expression of our love and our faith, music proves: We are the same.”
“Peace is a conscious choice.”
“Perhaps love is like a resting place, a shelter from the storm. It exists to give you comfort, it is there to keep you warm, and in those times of trouble when you are most alone, the memory of love will bring you home.”
“On the road of experience, join in the living day; if there's an answer, it's just that it is that way.”
"Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy."
“You fill up my senses.”

"Give thanks for sorrow that teaches you pity; for pain that teaches you courage - and give exceeding thanks for the mystery which remains a mystery still - the veil that hides you from the infinite, which makes it possible for you to believe in what you cannot see."
“There is no distance on this earth as far away as yesterday.”
“What trouble we go to, trying to fool people who see right through us anyhow.”
Today's Quotes::: “It isn't possible to love and part. You will wish that it was. You can transmute love, ignore it, muddle it, but you can never pull it out of you. I know by experience that the poets are right: love is eternal.”
“We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.”
“Spoon feeding in the long run teaches us nothing but the shape of the spoon.”
"One person with passion is better than forty people merely interested."

Some Heavy Thoughts For Today:::“How fragile we are under the sheltering sky. Behind the sheltering sky is a vast dark universe, and we're just so small.”
"Life is lived only once. And the less seriously the better."
"Security is a false God. Begin to make sacrifices to it and you are lost."
"The only effort worth making is the one it takes to learn the geography of one's own nature."
"Because we don't know when we will die, we get to think of life as an inexhaustible well. Yet everything happens only a certain number of times, and a very small number really. How many more times will you remember a certain afternoon of your childhood, an afternoon that is so deeply a part of your being that you can't even conceive of your life without it? Perhaps four or five times more, perhaps not even that. How many more times will you watch the full moon rise? Perhaps 20. And yet it all seems limitless."

Wife Thinks I Should Get Disability
When I retired, I went to the Social Security office to apply for
Social Security. The woman behind the counter asked me for my driver's
license to verify my age. I looked in my pockets and realized I had left my wallet at home. I told the woman that I was very sorry, but I would have to go home and come back later. The woman said, "Unbutton your shirt." So I opened my shirt revealing my curly silver hair. She said, "That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me," and she processed my Social Security application. When I got home, I excitedly told my wife about my experience at the Social Security office. She said, "You should have dropped your pants... you might have gotten disability, too."
Today's Quotes...“Everyday begins like a blank chalkboard, on which each one of us can write the poem of our present and our dreams for the future.”
“Life is like a great teacher..... she will repeat the lesson until you learn.”
“If there is one lesson I've learned lately, it's the importance of telling the universe what you want.”
“Now I realize that the most profound lessons in the world typically come in the simplest of ways. I had to see, suffer, enjoy, and live what I have lived to arrive at this place of understanding.”
― Ricky Martin
When a hobo told Andy he should just let Opie "decide for himself" how he wanted to live… He had these words of Mayberry wisdom.
"No, I'm afraid it don't work that way. You can't let a young’n decide for himself. He'll grab at the first flashy thing with shiny ribbons on it. Then, when he finds out there's a hook in it, it's too late. Wrong ideas come packaged with so much glitter that it's hard to convince them that other things might be better in the long run. All a parent can do is say 'Wait' and 'Trust me' and try to keep temptation away."

Today's Quotes:::"The door to the soul is unlocked; you do not need to please the doorkeeper, the door in front of you is yours, intended for you, and the doorkeeper obeys when spoken to."
"We spend our life until we’re twenty deciding what parts of ourself to put into the bag, and we spend the rest of our lives trying to get them out again."
"We make the path by walking."
"To be wild is not to be crazy or psychotic. True wildness is a love of nature, a delight in silence, a voice free to say spontaneous things, and an exuberant curiosity in the face of the unknown."
