OHIO SKIES FOR SKY WATCH FRIDAY IN THE BEAUTIFUL HOCKING HILLS

A SKYWATCH POST

skywatchlogo Beautiful skies from all around the world.

He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

“THE SKY IS LOW,THE CLOUDS ARE MEAN” EMILY DICKINSON

“The sky is low, the clouds are mean,
A travelling flake of snow
Across a barn or through a rut
Debates if it will go.
A narrow wind complains all day
How some one treated him;
Nature, like us, is sometimes caught
Without her diadem.”

I like your header, too, Joe. I'd much rather see a sky like that than those "mean skies"!

Great sky group. I agree - trying to read the sky can be difficult.

Beautiful Ohio skies Joe! Love that aerial view in the middle right collage.

And thanks for the plug... although I thought you meant that you would have a new button for yourself all created! LOL I totally misunderstood. :-)

Were you able to use the code I sent you and make one for yourself??

It still looks very cold. Great captures of your winter skies.

Love the chilly collage. I stayed at a fire tower for 3 summers. Isolated but fun too. Beautiful Oregon scenery at the tower.

The previous post, Watery Wednesday is very nice too. MB

Great skies - very moody! I also like the angle on the tower! Is that the same tower you climbed a little while back?

Skies are great, fire tower's scary-great. But I love the distant fields. Imagine old time farmers clearing out the woods to make those big open fields!

Lovely winter scenes in your collage. I really like the perspective you used on the fire tower, that is a great shot. The Emily Dickinson quote is perfect for these photos.
