I like that! So many times when I am driving out through more rural settings I see many church signs with messages. Some seem a little hokey...! but we know they mean well.
The voices in this world, especially of a political and religious calling would seek to undo us in our faith if we would just stand and listen long enough.
whew...It is only in getting away...and listening in the quiet away from the noise...that I DO regain my sense of God's love and goodness. And those two are enough to drown out and stomp down any cacophony the world would spew my way to cause me to get shaken.
Thank goodness for the "headphones" of God's Word to shut out all of that when necessary.
Thanks for a great post, and sometimes I too can't help myself at a fantastic all you can eat feast offering!!! TOOO much.. :-)

I live in a Denver suburb and there is a church near my home that posts the most beautiful quotes. I need to take my camera and get some shots. They really make me think! Thank you for sharing.

Sounds like good eats, Joe. I'm wishing I lived close by to join both of you for dinner.

I pray you are doing well. Take good care and God bless!

Your Fish Fry sounds great also... YUMMMMMMM....

Sounds like you all have had a great weekend. It is raining here today--and going to get cold. Darn!

Joe, in response to your comment on my blog this morning: I absolutely agree that the insurance companies need regulating--absolutely they do! BUT, your comment,"they brought it on themselves" is not what I'm upset about. I'm upset about what has been brought up on US in the form of Socialism by our government. And the insurance companies may be responsible for many bad things but they are not causing us to pay for abortions. We could regulate insurance companies without forcing everybody to have insurance so we can provide it for every low down, lazy, son of a gun who never worked a lick in his life!!!!
