STORMY SKIES

Make sure to visit SkyWatch Friday

Hear the thunder rumble, a sound from miles away
Is it getting nearer, or over for today

A flash of blinding light, electric in the skies
Looking out the window, it really hurts my eyes

After comes the rumble, the clash of cloud on cloud
Feel the floor vibrating, that one was really loud

Still more lightning flashes, it hit's the old oak tree
Lightning in the garden, now that's too close for me

The Storm By Dean Thorpe.

Thanks for stopping by.

Gosh I wondered if you were OK with all those storms in your State -- most of our neighbors are from Ohio and Indiana, but my geography skills are still so poor I don't know exactly where you guys are. Be careful out there.

A thunderstorm can be exciting... as long as there are no tornadoes!

I love those cloudy skies, and I am waiting for our first thunderstorm of the year, but I sure hope we do not get the tornadoes...

Amazing shots! Lightening is fascinating only when it's not too close.
