I so enjoyed this, living on the coast and all as I do. I've been to two lighthouses along the Texas coast, but this one you toured is purely outstanding.
That circular stairway....looks lethal, but I would have to climb. Of course.

Beautiful picture of the Fresnel lens light. There is one like that in a lighthouse near Coos Bay Oregon that we have visited several times and heard the history of the light as well as the lighthouse.
