Good story -- and I love the forsythia bush. (In our family it was called ForCynthia (the last part being our daughter's name and our bushes bloomed around her birthday).
The forsythia is beautiful!Love the story - what a patient dad that boy had.
This are beautiful shots! I have got one with forsythia but it is not the quality cause it was through the windshield as we drove.
The lines and shadows on the fence is pretty!

More people should hear that story! The forsythia is so beautiful!
Lovely shot!An excellent story!!!I'm smiling at your header sentiment. :)
Your fence just shouts springtime, Joe. We love the forsythia and hope the frosts stay away that spoil their beauty. And it's always a good idea to figure out what makes us angry and how we can control it--for our sake as well as others.
Great shots, Joe! The yellow and white both really pop!
Beautiful forsythia against the white fence. Great story too.
I just love the forsythia! It screams spring time! Nice story to go along with Friday's Fence theme.
The picture is beautiful, but I absolutely love the story.
