Absolute Honesty, Absolute Purity, Absolute Unselfishness, and Absolute Love ……….. F.Y.I.:: “Bill W. early criticized the Four Absolutes as being too tough for alcoholics to swallow, just as he later criticized several other Oxford Group principles and practices. By contrast, Dr. Bob S. consistently favored application of the Four Absolutes. So did his wife Anne, and the other leaders such as Henrietta S. and T. Henry. and Clarace W. READ MORE

We will now close this meeting with the “Lord’s Prayer”:::
Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever
Amen.
KEEPCOMINGBACDONE I’ve been waiting a long time to do this post. When the article.. Lost for decades, the Alcoholics Anonymous original manuscript will be auctioned for millions was published by The Washington Post I decided now was the time. ( As a side note: I probably did more research for this post than any other post I’ve done. I was able to go to some “Open AA meetings.” I really enjoyed myself and learned a lot…)  As Always “Have A Great Day”& KEEP COMING BACK

Vocatus atque non vocatus deus aderit

MQTlogoa1500x500 Thought For Today… (the Ultimate Question)

Timor dei initium sapiente……………………..

“In a letter of November 19, 1960, Jung explains the inscription:

By the way, you seek the enigmatic oracle Vocatus atque non vocatus deus aderit in vain in Delphi: it is cut in stone over the door of my house in Kusnacht near Zurich and otherwise found in Erasmus's collection of Adagia (XVIth cent.). [Jung had acquired a copy of the 1563 edition of Erasmus's Collectaneas adagiorum, a compilation of analects from classical authors, when he was 19 years old.] It says: yes, the god will be on the spot, but in what form and to what purpose? I have put the inscription there to remind my patients and myself: Timor dei initium sapiente ["The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."] Here another not less important road begins, not the approach to "Christianity" but to God himself and this seems to be the ultimate question.”

MQTlogoa1500x500 A road trip to the Kelton House Museum and Gardens in Columbus,Ohio.. A trip back in time to the Victorian Era…(QUEEN VICTORIA’S REIGN FROM JUNE 1837 UNTIL HER DEATH ON THE 22nd of January 1901 defines the Victorian Era, but scholars include years as far back as 1830 when contemplating this time period)….
Some say the Kelton House is HAUNTED….. “Have I mentioned lately that I adore the spirits at the Kelton House?  They are the friendliest, most playful ones I have ever encountered. This year, they out did themselves on the yearly ghost tours.” READ MORE
