“There's fish in the ocean, and eels in the sea
And everywhere I haven't been, that's where I want to be .” Roger McGuinn)( Folk Link)
I know when I’m going. Know who’s going with me.Know who I love, But Dear Lord knows where I’ll be.
Feather beds are soft. And painted rooms are bonny
But I would leave them all To go a wandering with you. (Picture from LilyFest 2009)

“There's sunshine in the heart of me,
My blood sings in the breeze;
The mountains are a part of me,
I'm fellow to the trees.
My golden youth I'm squandering,
Sun-libertine am I;
A-wandering, a-wandering,
Until the day I die.”
“To pitch my tent with no prosy plan,
To range and to change at will;
To mock at the mastership of man,
To seek Adventure's thrill.
Carefree to be, as a bird that sings;
To go my own sweet way;
To reck not at all what may befall,
But to live and to love each day.”

brushes the dust of the world away
What can I do in such an hour,
O my thousand-colored world—except
gather this red beauty Into the wind’s purse
and bring it home for supper.” PARAPHRASE
BE BACK SOON : Joe Todd and Linda.
LilyFest 2009 is a three day event in the hocking hills area of Ohio.(Donations accepted) There are 3 ACRES of artistically designed gardens, ponds and garden sculptures and 70+ AREA ARTISTS displaying, demonstrating and marketing their products.
Now for a few pictures:
One of the area artists is Mr. Ed Kitchen of Lancaster,Ohio.
Ed is the tall fellow in the black shirt and let me tell you he has been working pretty hard. Take a second and check out his blog Ed Kitchen Paintings
How about a little music:
Let’s check out a couple vendors:
Maybe I’ll help Linda with some cleaning. A new broom might help. (LOL)
Things started to get Prickly as we went by the cactus display:
So we stopped by Annie’s Cheese Cake (vendor at the Fest) for a sandwich & soda and sat under the tree house.
As you probably know by now I am always thinking about golf. So imagine my surprise when I found the wooden putter.
(Can’t see my stomach in that picture)
While I was checking out the putter guess what Linda found? (BEARS)
Well there was one whole section I didn’t mention on purpose.
So you will just have to find out by getting out there yourself.(Or maybe in another post)
Linda and I are getting ready to go on a Canadian fishing trip. So, we head up to Alexander's Landing Marine on Buckeye Lake to get a few things for the boat.
Thanks Grace for all the help. Just a mile away on Lake road it is harvest time.
Or right across the road the “beans” are still growing.
Have to have a picture of a barn.
Still have some work to do, but I think I’ll stop by Pleasant Valley Golf Course on the way home.
Now I want to say Congratulations Linda and The Teddy Bears on being given:
The LOVE MY FRIENDS AWARD:
Thank you Words of Wisdom From a Smart Mouth Broad.
Hi, I’m Linda. I’ve been following Joe Todd.(my husband) He tells me I have to help with the blog. So this is my first attempt.
While I’m working here, Joe Todd is obviously golfing. I’m going to show you some of our teddy bears.
Hi, I’m Big John. I am the biggest bear in the neighborhood. Sometimes I ride in the truck with Daddy. The girls at the bank drive-thru think I’m pretty cute.
Hi, I’m Jamie and I am the number #1 bear. Just ask my Mommy, she will tell you. See the flowers I have grown.
This is my brother Joey. We look a lot alike.It’s nice to hang out on the deck that Daddy built.
The Pooh Bears went hunting in the hundred acre woods (part of the hocking hills) and we found this rather large mushroom.
Where was I when the group Pooh picture was taken?
I am so much happier surrounded by my friends.
We don’t like to get our paws dirty. Just call us Zoe and Polly. One last picture of some of the handcrafted bears I made.
If anyone’s interested in purchasing a handcrafted bear contact me at: lindabeary@yahoo.com Thanks for visiting.
