Skies over Seneca Lake for SkyWatch Friday

A couple quick photos for SkyWatch Friday. Linda and I just got back from Seneca Lake which is part of the Muskingum Watershed in Ohio..

This photo was taken from our dock early in the morning as the sun tried to show it’s face above the horizon and through the mist.

This photo was taken the same day late in the afternoon. I really love the blue. The photo is right out of the camera. Once winter gets here the skies will be back to gray LOL

eagle Thanks for stopping by and make sure to explore some great skies from around the world at SkyWatch Friday

Hi Joe. What a great Sky Watch shot with the sun behind the clouds. I got the seeds and I was so tickled at the variety. I am going to enjoy trying them next spring and will show pictures of them. Thank you so much for the seeds and thinking of me. You and Linda have a wonderful week.

Yes, we've got to store it all up to help us get through the greys to come.
We are having a kind of (Red-)Indian Summer over here in the UK this week. Actually better than the real summer. Still, it won't last.

I like the hazy shot.

Beautiful blue! It's the last of the blue skies here in Oregon as well. Were you boating on that lake?

Brilliant shots, - the first so peaceful and the blue in the second so vivid and deep. Lovely...

Your skies are beautiful...that blue is a knock-out! I love your bear cartoon...I saw a bear last weekend in the eastern Sierras (California). That bear climbed a tree as easily as a squirrel!
