GOLF ROAD TRIP NEAR LANCASTER,OHIO

ROAD TRIP

The purpose of this road trip is two fold One, to play 9 holes of golf and Two,find golf balls. Time and Place: Windy Hills near Lancaster,Ohio:::: Monday (chance to find more golf balls after a weekend)

#1

I am a little concerned: am I getting to old to play golf ? I have perfect eyesight and can see where the ball goes but then I can’t remember where it is.

SCENERY1

Looks like a storm is rolling in. This could be the game of my Life. G.O.L.F. Gentleman. Only. Ladies. Forbidden.

SCENERY2

The problem with my golf game is L.O.F.T.  LACK. OF. FRICKING. TALENT. Getting ready to head up that gulley to find golf balls.

scene3

Nine holes of golf with cart, hot dog, coke $20.00. I found about fifty usable golf balls @ .50 cents each =$25.00. Using this kind of math  I have been able to convince my wife Linda that I can afford to play golf. LOL

DSCN0803 Click on picture for a short Windy Hills Golf Video. I would like to leave you with this thought: “It takes longer to learn to be a good golfer than it does to become a brain surgeon. On the other hand, you don’t get to ride around on a cart, drink beer, eat hot dogs and fart if you are performing Brain Surgery !!!!”

Joe: Cute post, the only problem with that logic is you can only use so many golf balls. Base the cost on the amount of fun you have.

And this is why I don't play golf... I could never have the patience to find the balls I hit. And I'm too cheap to replace that many ;)

I'm amazed at the price though. $20 for a cart and lunch is pretty impressive. It's... more expensive than that around here. But nice haul with the golf balls!

Finding the golf balls would be most of the fun for me. The ones Ihit and the ones that others lost and never found. It's like a big treasure hunt.

Good haul! Now you can plant them and grow golf ball trees - or is that tees?
